03. St. Michael's Printshop St. John's
St. Michael's Printshop is a non-profit lithography, intaglio and relief print studio which provides professional fine art printmaking facilities for established artists, emerging artists and students of fine arts programs. From its inception in 1972, St. Michael's reputation as a nexus for printers and printmaking in Newfoundland has spread, attracting artists from around the world. Today, it is recognized as one of the country's premier visual arts establishments through which a forceful exploration of the physical and spiritual landscape continues to take place. The mythology and atmosphere of St. Michael's Printshop contribute in a subtle yet potent way to inspire superb printmaking.

04. Atelier d'estampe Imago inc. Moncton
The artist-run print studio Imago provides research facilities and a full-fledged workshop for contemporary print artists. Imago is the only artist-run production centre in New-Brunswick and the only francophone production centre outside Quebec. A laboratory space for creation and experimentation, it not only hosts artists in residence, lecturers, workshops and interdisciplinary projects, but attracts artists in all fields to work in contemporary print. Imago dislodges print from its traditional approach and reflects current preoccupations in present-day art.

05. Galerie Sans Nom Moncton
Galerie Sans Nom is the only Acadian artist-run centre dedicated to the presentation of visual and multidisciplinary Canadian art. Since 1977, the centre has supported artists' initiatives, encouraging experimentation and innovation. Galerie Sans Nom's programming takes into account current artistic tendencies and reflects contemporary issues while remaining relevant to its social and artistic community. 06. Gallery Connexion Fredericton
Gallery Connexion was founded as the Organization for the Development of Artists, whose purpose is to expose Fredericton and surrounding area to contemporary and experimental visual art including performance, literary arts, musical arts, and interdisciplinary work from other areas of the country and abroad.

Gallery Connexion's programming ensures that marginalized groups, Aboriginals, and emerging artists are included in the selections annually.

08. Third Space Gallery Saint John
The only artist-run centre for contemporary art in Saint John, Galerie Tiers-espace / Third Space Gallery is an interdisciplanary exhibition, performance and production space committed to representing local, regional and national professional contemporary artists.

Third Space will highlight the work of emerging and established artists who cross disciplines and boundaries in their examinations of contemporary culture. The aim of the gallery is to facilitate the education, understanding and appreciation of contemporary art at a local, national and international level. It will do this by hosting exhibitions, workshops, residencies, lectures, performances and screenings, as well as by publishing and disseminating materials relevant towards this aim.

09. Le Trécarré galerie d'art contemporain Baie Sainte-Marie
Le Trécarré is an artist run gallery located in the rural Acadian community of Baie Sainte-Marie Nova Scotia. Situated on the campus of Université Sainte-Anne, Le Trécarré's mandate is to expose local artists and residents to Canadian and international contemporary art; provide the infrastucture and programming needed to encourage artistic exploration and innovation; present the cultural context needed to further the appreciation and development of a relevant, informed, and active Acadian voice.

Le Trécarré will exhibit local, Canadian, and international contemporary art, host artists talks, panel discussions, and performances, and present installation, video, and multi media works. The yearly exhibition program will consist of one Conseil des Arts de la Baie member exhibition, one Manivelle printshop member exhibition, and four open-submission, professional artist exhibitions.

10. ARTsPLACE Gallery Annapolis Royal
The artist run centre at ARTsPLACE runs a full schedule of exhibition programs which inform, challenge, and educate our diverse community in current contemporary art expression, media presentation, and cutting edge mainstream trends. The yearly exhibitions program and schedule comprises six CARFAC artist fee paid shows, one invitational Piece of Space Installation Exhibition, one biennial students exhibition, or community themed exhibition, and an annual members show for an annual total of nine exhibits, five weeks duration per exhibit. Exhibitions awarded financial support by the Exhibition Committee receive full CARFAC artist fees and additional funds towards catalogue production, travel, dissemination, and shipping.

11. Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative Halifax
The Atlantic Filmmakers' Cooperative is a member-run arts-centre for the production and presentation of creative films in a collaborative, learning environment. The Centre for Art Tapes is a not for profit artist-run, charitable, organization that facilitates and supports artists at all levels working with electronic media including video, audio, and new media. Eye Level Gallery is a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to the presentation, development and promotion of contemporary art. 15. La Manivelle atelier d'estampe and La galerie Détraqué Baie Sainte-Marie
La Manivelle is an artist run printmaking studio committed to education, collaboration, and innovation. Located on the campus of Université Sainte-Anne, the printshop provides facilities for intaglio and relief printmaking and focuses on the development and exchange of new printmaking techniques and approaches. The Manivelle regularly hosts workshops, lectures, and artists talks and has an established yearly artist exchange and artist in residence program.

 La Galerie détraqué is a showcase gallery located in the entryway of La Manivelle printshop. It consists of three 3'x6' viewing cabinets for exhibiting six juried, contemporary printmaking exhibitions each year.
